Instagram Reels vs tiktok: digital war has started
Well yes, Facebook has moved to beat its competitors, doing what Facebook has always been good to do: innovate. Or maybe I should say copy?
In a response to Tiktok, Mark Zuckerberg has launched a new way of creating and sharing videos on Instagram and you will be forgiven if you think it is similar to the Bytedance platform.
With the new features, called coils, now gradually implemented worldwide, influencers and social media users have started to think about the demand for gold. What is the difference between Tiktok and Instagram Reels? Do not worry, we think of explaining it: p
The first difference: identify.

Without going too far, it is a game for children to note that the difference between Tiktok and Instagram Reels lies in the fact that they are created by two different companies.
Both are in two different geographic regions: Facebook in the United States and Tiktok was born in China. The two platforms have recently been in the news for confidentiality issues which, to a certain extent, were strongly political by the two nations.
While Facebook has attracted public and governments around the world too Tiktok He had to face similar problems because the application has a policy that allows him to share user information with members of his business group. In short, his home friend «Bytedance» will be able to share user data with the Chinese government in theory.
While Facebook continues to extend its tentacles, Tiktok was prohibited in India and, more recently, the President of the United States Donald Trump signed a decree against Bytedance.
This means that, from 45 days of today, to everyone in the United States, it will be prohibited to do business with bytes or with one of its subsidiaries, including Tiktok.
Politically, this decision seems positive for Trump among his supporters, from a business point of view, will rain dollars for Zuckerberg. Trump has mainly contributed to bleeding the competitor Facebook.
Influencers who have made Tiktok their house for almost two years would have no choice but to go to coils to continue to earn their living (and be «famous»).
The identity of the two brands is certainly the biggest difference, but there are two others, probably not so important but just as influential to convince people to opt for the other.
The second difference: The time limit.

No, they didn’t do it. Instead, videos on coils are limited to 15 seconds.
Tiktok recently extended the maximum duration of his videos at 60 seconds in early 2020. You might think that the coils would do the same.
Even if this would not represent a big problem, because most Tiktok users were already used to this time limit, however, the fact that some users will not be able to publish 45 other seconds could deactivate a lot.
For residents in the United States, the most obvious choice would be the coils. But for all the others around the world, their preference could differ due to their creative inclinations.
Third difference: The choice of music.

To be honest, Reels is a less selfie tiktok coal copy, cat videos and food.
It seems that the only difference is in the logos of the two brands. The roller logo seems to be silent and in a way an adult version of the version of Tiktok.
The Reels Creators’ collection page will seem extremely familiar for the profile of a Tiktok user profile.
People will be able to see how many views have received a certain video and there is an option to comment and share the video at the bottom left. The bottom right corner shows how the video takes place in terms of participation.
But what will distinguish the two platforms will be the choice of music and audio. There have not yet been official Facebook statements on this subject, but the technology giant has confirmed that it will soon launch music with license.
To what extent the collection of music and audio available at the moment is unknown to us, but above all, we are really curious to know how Tiktok will launch an attack / challenge against Facebook.
