Linkedin is launching a new format for its professional updates «Daily Rundown»
Although the engagement rate continues to grow on LinkedIn, the platform is looking for other ways to facilitate discussion and ensure that professionals that professionals from around the world have the opportunity to discuss key subjects.
In fact, LinkedIn now has a team of around 65 journalists dedicated to this task – and according to a new profile of the CNN company, these efforts are fruitful.
According to the CNN:
«We have a metric that keeps a trace of the frequency with which users enter LinkedIn LinkedIn 30 minutes apart. Compared to last year, the latter increased by 27% and the company monetizes this traffic».
Recently, LinkedIn announced that it made some changes to new professional «Daily Rundown» (currently available only in English).
Do you already know what they are?
These are daily updates to which users can register to remain constantly informed of the news and important events concerning the business world.

Linkedin explains it even more clearly:
«Each morning, a team of publishers from LinkedIn publishes the Daily Désilcement to make sure you start the day with the best news, trends and career advice. We are launching a new look for our daily dilapidation. Now you can get away from each news between each news and deepen those that interest you most.
Do you want to share your point of view on news? By clicking on one of the titles inside the dilapidation, you will display the important conversations that the members already have. In fact, more than a third of the articles we see of our members are linked to «information and ideas». By participating in one of these conversations, you will make sure that your opinions reach the right people. «»
The idea here is to ensure that LinkedIn users converse on the latest fashionable subjects, connecting to key conversations.
The dedication of LinkedIn to moderation based on humans has seen that it produces a more advantageous and targeted flow of news updates than the other lists defined by the algorithm.
Twitter trends, for example, can be useful, but sometimes they can focus on strange subjects, while Facebook has completely abandoned the news section of the trend after being transmitted to a flow entirely defined by algorithm, which did not really work.
Facebook is now trying to return to the cover of news, with a card dedicated to news, and will once again try to use human moderation to make it a more precious resource.
Linkedin has more advantageous skills in this sense, because professional news is less likely to tackle division subjects, politically influenced, but clearly, on the basis of commitment statistics, a level of human intervention is necessary to guarantee these remaining and relevant lists.
The compilations of Rundown Daily on LinkedIn They are available for users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, India, China, Japan, France, the Netherlands, Pan Asia, Pan Europe and will soon be available in Mena.
You can activate daily dilapidation via the communication parameter> News in the LinkedIn application.
