Tiktok is testing a new musical tab on the profiles of selected artists

Music was one of the key elements of Tiktok’s climb.

For this, the application tests a new method to improve the discovery of songs of the momentInserting the songs of artists on the profiles of selected and verified singers.

As you can see in this example, shared by the social media expert Matt Navarra, the new test implies the insertion of a third music tab added to the profiles of the artists.

If you click on the Note music icon on the left, you can see a list of all the songs of the artists available on the application.

Users can therefore touch a certain song to use it in their videos.

For Tiktok users, it will be a step forward towards the discovery of new songs.

For Tiktok, however, it will certainly be a way to improve the link with artists, offering them greater possibilities to promote their music.

This is only one of the latest news from Tiktok to overcome the wave of last year’s success that has just happened.

Paying attention to music is important for Tiktok.

Music is the key to making the short video of the most captivating application, thanks to the many daily trends that are able to make any viral song.

Just click on a song inside a video inside the platform to take a look at all the other videos that used the same track.

Touch a song from a Tiktok video and you can see a list of all the other videos of the application that used the same track. You can then touch «use this sound» to add the same song to your content and help diffuse the trend.

A year before its closure, Vine He tried to operate the same «Remix» feature, which allowed users to apply the same audio from any wine clip for their messages.

In the same way as Tiktok, Vine (before his decline) had launched many artists little known through these short clips of Remix.

Vine, however, has not been able to offer valid monetization potential to prevent creators from going to YouTube or Instagram, where – even other income was available.

Tiktok works hard to avoid the same fate.

Thanks to its monetization efforts and additional features like this, Tiktok will exist that it can create a more practical, profitable and advantageous market for its best creators, in order to keep them inside the platform.

We cannot know if Tiktok will succeed in his intention: for the moment, the application remains a real bet.

Its takeoff could transform it into one of the most successful applications of recent years, or it could be a simple fatal fire.

For the moment, however, the New Music tab is only tested for a small group of users.
