Why the computer heats up

The problem with computer overheating has great popularity among PC users. If before this problem was only in summer, it can now be encountered at any time of the year. Today I will explain why the computer is heated and what to do to avoid this problem.

Let’s start with the fact that for most of us, the computer means the system unit, it even warms up. Analyons the measures that must be taken and what is the reason for overheating.

Why is the computer heated and what should we do?

Get rid of the dust of the system unit. The system unit attracts and brings together a lot of dust inside, which is formed due to the constant ventilator air circulation, located inside the system unit. The coolers (fans) introduce air into the system unit, because it cools the elements such as: processor, graphics card, hard drive, etc. The assembled dust does not allow plates to cool and, therefore, the temperature increases.

The system unit must be regularly cleaned, at least once every 6 months. And if you work for days on the computer, cleaning should be carried out at least once every 2 to 3 months. Particular attention must be paid to the pallets of fans (these are a lot of dust), radiators and, of course, all the plates. For cleaning, you will need vacuum cleaners, brushes and dry fabrics. In no case do you use water or cleaning chemicals!

Clean the contacts and connect all the elements well. Sometimes the cause of overheating can be a «bad» contact between the elements and, therefore, the links between them are starting to heat and the temperature is sent to other components of the computer.

It installs much stronger new coolers. You can considerably reduce the computer temperature with additional coolers (fans), which are installed inside the system unit. First of all, it replaces the cooler on the processor, because it largely depends on working speed. You can also install additional coolers for hard drives, because they work very hard, especially if there are more. The more cooling you will install, the lower the temperature of the computer, but the computer noise will increase.

Replace the thermal dough on the processor. Above, I mentioned that the processor has one of the most important roles on the computer. For this reason, you must not only install a better fan, but also to change the thermal dough from time to time, it applies between the processor and the radiator, it offers an appropriate heat transfer. When the process is heated, the storage transmits this heat to the radiator, which is a cooler, in other words, the cold of the cooler is transferred to the radiator, and that in turn sends it through the thermal dough to the processor. And so the processor cools.

Only over time, the terrible dough dries and loses its capacity, and the processor begins to warm up, which leads to an increase in temperature or even the processor defect. By applying the thermal dough, try not to apply it in a thick or thin layer. In both cases, heat transfer may not be good.

Change food. Thanks to heavy loads, she first suffers from food, so that she can warm up very hard, so don’t forget to change the diet with a stronger (every 2-3 years).

Put the system unit so that nothing prevents air from getting out of it and getting out of it. Try to put the system unit so that a distance of 10 to 15 centimeters around, there is nothing, because in this case, it will receive the amount of air required. Try to keep it away from sunlight and devices that emit heat.

It replaces the system of the system unit. Sometimes the cause of computer overheating can be the old system unit system. The problem is that modern elements are very demanding: it requires a lot of space, energy and ventilation, so try to choose a housing, which has large dimensions and ventilation openings, as well as coolers.
